This course consists of slides viewed at the participant's pace. Successful completion of the course requires a passing grade on the imbedded quiz at the end of the presentation.
This course will review the gray area od professional ethical boundaries in a home health setting, review discipline specific ethical guidelines as they pertain to boundary setting and provide reasonable actions to take when boundaries are threatened through lecture and individual activity. It will also clarify the role of Peer Review and when it is used.

  • List 3 gray area boundary challenges that therapists often face.
  • List a reasonable action to take for each of the 3 challenges identified.
  • Identify the role that Peer Review plays in resolving ethical boundary issues.
  • Identify a decision making model for determining ethical decisions.
