Course Abstract
This course has been approved for 0.5 continuing education clock hours by TSHA. TSHA approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products or clinical procedures.
This course consists of slides viewed at the participant's pace. Successful completion of the course requires a passing grade on the imbedded quiz at the end of the presentation.
This course will provide an effective mentor/supervisor model to be used in healthcare settings. The model will identify the regulations for supervising assistants and provide a best practice for establishing expectations between supervisor and assistant.
Course Learning Objectives
- Participants will be able to list the regulations required to be a supervisor.
- Participants will be able to list the CE requirements of supervisors and assistants.
- Participants will be able to list at least 3 of 8 best practice agreements between a supervisor and an assistant.
