Course Abstract

This course consists of slides viewed at the participant's pace. The quiz at the end of this course cannot be completed [and CE credits received for this course] until you have first completed the pre-requisite course Understanding Conflict. Successful completion of the course requires a passing grade on the imbedded quiz at the end of the presentation. Completion certifications are available upon successful completion of the quiz.
This course will review competencies needed to manage conflict successfully, conflict management styles and techniques to ultimately apply to conflict situations in therapy [patient/family] interactions, co-worker interactions and life interactions in general.

  • To identify your most frequently used conflict management style
  • To identify the 5 management styles
  • To identify at least 3 techniques to use when managing conflict
