This course consists of slides viewed at the participant's pace. Successful completion of this course requires a passing grade on the embedded quiz at the end of the presentation. Completion certifications are available upon successful completion of the quiz.
This course will review the how, what, when and where of doing performance reviews, goal setting and individual development plans. How to create a 'win-win' that encourages an employee's positive discretionary effort is discussed.

  • Identify the who, what, why, where and when of a performance review
  • List the 10 components of a thorough, successful review session
  • Define positive discretionary effort and one way to encourage it
  • List at least 3 reasons why individual development plans fail
