This course consists of slides viewed at the video's pace. Successful completion of the course requires a passing grade on the imbedded quiz at the end of the presentation.
This course reviews the barriers and the strategies to overcome those barriers as they relate to parents execution of their child's home health program.
This course was created by Cyril Serafin. SLP-Assistant. Cyril is a 2016 graduate of the University of Dallas with a special interest in parent/child relationships as they pertain to home programs.
Course Learning Objectives
- Identify at least 3 barriers in communicating home programs to parents/guardians.
- Identify at least 3 strategies to overcome parent guided home programs barriers.
- Identify 3 common strategies above and beyond basic home program content that will enhance home program outcomes.
