Course Abstract

This course has been submitted to HHS for approval of 1.0 continuing education clock hour. HHS approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products or clinical procedures.
This course consists of slides viewed at the participant's pace. Successful completion of this course requires a passing grade on the embedded quiz at the end of the presentation. Completion certifications are available upon successful completion of the quiz.
This course reviews the essence of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1991, the significance of these Acts on the workplace and leadership's responsibility in the workplace as it relates to these Acts. DADS

Course Learning Objectives

  • To list the protected classes of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
  • To list at least 3 major enhancements to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that the Civil Rights Act of 1991 made into law
  • To list at least 3 significant areas of impact these Acts have on the workplace
  • To identify at least 3 major roles that you as a leader play in enforcing the mandates of these Acts
