Course Abstract
This course has been approved by HHS for .5 continuing education [CE] credit hours to be
applied toward licensing requirements for an Administrator/Alternate Administrator.
The information presented in this course reviews the agencys audit content/process in
compliance with Texas Administrative Code or TAC, Title 26, Health and Human
Services, Part 1, Chapter 558, Licensing Standards for Home and Community Support
Services Agencies.
These courses consist of slides viewed at the participant?s pace. Successful completion of the
course requires a passing grade on the imbedded quiz at the end of the presentation.
Course Learning Objectives
- List the 2 primary objectives of an HHS audit.
- Identify at least 5 areas of interest that an auditor will address.
- Identify 3 objectives for conducting interviews.
