Course Abstract
Tthis training provides a clear path for administrators and alternate administrators of Home and
Community Support Services Agencies [HCSSAs] regarding requirements for experience, initial
training, and continuing education in accordance with the licensing standards in Title 26 of the
Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapter 558.259 and 558.260.
HHS has approved this course for 0.5 clock hours suitable for addressing licensing training
requirements Chapter 558.259 for Texas home and community support service agency
Administrators and Alternate Administrators.
These courses consist of slides viewed at the participant?s pace. Successful completion of the
course requires a passing grade on the exam at the end of the presentation.
Course Learning Objectives
- Upon completion of this training, participants will
- Identify the subjects and training hours required to obtain an initial license as an Administrator/Alternate Administrator.
- Identify the subjects and training hours required within the first 12 months and every 12 months thereafter to retain a license as an Administrator/Alternate Administrator.
